Make a small fire, wait until it heats the clay, and you get a big, hot radiator that throws heat into the air. There’s no need for a big fire.

Make sure you read the instructions and maintenance notes for the Edyth Mexican chimenea, so you know how to look after it, and always cure it first with a really small fire. Remember you can’t use every kind of fuel and lighting substance in clay chims, and that they need to be protected from the weather.

Because it’s hand made and painted by hand every one is slightly different – which means yours is unique. The paint will gradually discolour naturally, leaving you with a subtle finish. The colour change doesn’t affect its use, and if you like it can be repainted.
