As you may be aware, we are currently experiencing an extremely high volume of orders. In the past 5 weeks items have been picked and packed by 3 family members at the Gardeco warehouse whilst the nation has been in lock down.

Delivery companies are also running over capacity which means there aren’t enough of them for the items we need shipping. Chimineas are extremely large, bulky and heavy items so often require a two-man team to pick, pack and deliver.

Orders in April were nearly 4 to 5 times the norm. With staff on furlough, phenomenal order quantities, and over stretched delivery resource – I’m sure you can appreciate there have been delays for many items.

Staff returned to the warehouse this week; however social distancing measures mean that Gardeco cannot catch up as quickly as they would like.  Unfortunately, this means a waiting time for most orders. 

Please note that the lead time is minimum 2 working weeks for most products, and up to 3 working weeks for clay chimeneas. In some cases, even longer.

Due to the volume of orders, along with changes to transport companies that Gardeco had to implement due to COVID-19, there have also been a higher than usual number of breakages.  Resends and spare parts will also take longer than usual.  As long as you email clear images of the breakages, our usual terms (full credit or resend) will apply. 

We understand that delays are frustrating but please bear with us and you will get your item. If you are unhappy with these lead times please send an email requesting a refund.
