Helios 100% Thick Cast Iron Chimenea (Extra Large), Black

A part of the new ‘Big Fires’ range from Gardeco, the Helios is designed for large and frequent fires. Throw any amount of fuel on (we recommend wood or charcoal, but you can also use coal) and build a fire as often as you like – the Helios can take it.

Made from 100% thick cast iron the extra large Helios comes in two parts and with no other assembly required (great for those who don’t want to fiddle around with nuts and bolts!) you’ll have the Helios ready for a fire in no time at all.

Weighing in at around 70kg the Helios isn’t light, but comes with two carry handles on each side to aid moving it. Of course we recommend you place it on a solid flat surface away from overhanging branches and away from anything that could be affected by the fire.

As the XL Helios is designed as a very effective patio heater it does not come with a BBQ grill but you can still use our wide range of cooking accessories if you want to do a little outdoor cooking.

Standing at 128cm with a diameter of 50cm and weighing in at 70kgs, this large cast iron chimineas is suitable for larger outdoor areas.

A little more about cast iron:

Cast iron chimineas give off far more heat than clay chimineas. This is especially handy in the UK where even summer evenings can be cool. All our cast iron chimineas are 100% thick cast iron to ensure they are the best possible quality.

Choosing to add any accessories to you order is completely up to you. However, we do suggest that if you have pets or small children to get a chiminea guard to avoid any chance of them touching the hot surface. A chiminea cover will also help prevent rust.
