The fabulously dramatic Asteria Chimalin AFC Chiminea – Glazed Cappuccino – comes with a large mouth opening so you can enjoy a great view of the fire. Due to its traditional Mexican shape you get a strong draw through the mouth, which produces a hot, clean and bright flame – and leaves only fine ash once the fire has gone out. The special clay it’s made from is so tough there’s a 5 year guarantee against thermal cracking, always a risk when there are sudden changes in temperature. This means that you do not need to season the clay or use a base layer of insulating material to protect the clay against cracking. Open her up, light a fire, and you’re ready to go.
