Cast Iron Swivel Hotplate (26cm)

We also sell a 30cm version of this cast iron swivel hotplate. This one, diameter 26cm, is designed to fit large cast iron chimineas. A quality cast iron hotplate can replace the swivel-out grill that comes with some of our chims, fitting neatly on the swivel attachment. You can use it as a hotplate or a frying-pan, giving you all sorts of fun with alfresco cuisine. The cast iron will heat up very quickly and is very hard-wearing, perfect for outdoor cooking on a chiminea.

Please wash the plate before first use and, after that, treat it the same way you’d treat any piece of quality kitchen equipment. A light coating of oil after washing will help keep the cast iron in perfect condition, especially when you’ll be storing the pan for a long time.

Cast iron becomes very hot during use. Please take great care around touching it, and keep children and pets safe around it. Let the plate cool properly before attempting to touch it. Other than that, this little beauty will keep you in beautiful alfresco food for years to come.
