Asador Azteca Clay BBQ

The Asador Azteca – Full of ethnic sophistication 

This big and beautiful oval-shaped Mexican BBQ is made from an attractive yellow-gold ochre coloured finish and comes with its own curvy steel stand. The traditional 3D Aztec motifs are highlighted with a bright white glaze for contrast, and this fabulous item is just as practical as it is handsome. The curved opening at the front lets you easily add fuel – either wood or charcoal – while the fire is burning, but bear in mind there’s really no need to overdo things. A small, neat fire is quite enough to throw out loads of lovely heat into the surrounding air.

This one is hand made and also decorated by hand, which means every one is ever so slightly different. The oval shape is very attractive and it cooks like a dream. The grill – which is included – is a really simple way to prepare piping hot burgers and steaks, chicken and roasted vegetables.  It looks great on a patio or deck, can be used on the lawn and while the paint effect gradually fades, it develops a really cool rustic patina. You can repaint it if you like, or let it naturally acquire that superb antique finish.
